Airy Family Practice generally has regular seasonal flu vaccine available after October 1st of each year, and established patients may call and make an appointment to receive the vaccine without seeing a physician. We have provided H1N1 vaccine in the past and will continue to do so according to established recommendations, depending on vaccine availability.

2. Abington Memorial Hospital Center- Shilling Campus, 2500 Maryland Road, Suite 611, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Call 215-481-8950. A 6 week program that features the American Lung Association Freedom from Smoking program. Cost: free
*1-800-QUIT-NOW Pennsylvania's smoking cessation program which offers free nicotine patches while supplies last. Additional smoking cessation information and support is available through www.determinedtoquit.com
* Smoke Stoppers This utilizes a patented system to help people quit smoking with a fully interactive program that is individuallly tailored. $39 for a 21 day program.
* American Cancer Society has many good resources at 1-800-ACS-2345 or go to www.cancer.org/docroot/home/index.asp , then click on "Guide to Quitting Smoking" on the lower left side of the screen, about half way down. There is information about reasons to quit, quiz: do you need help to quit?, finding a quit line or other support, helping a smoker quit: do's and don'ts, emailing frends and family asking for support.
